Rhythm and Rhyme with Liz Weir
Children are invited to enjoy a special Rhythm and Rhyme with Libraries NI's Storyteller in Residence Liz Weir in Lisburn City Library on Thursday 4 August at 11.00am.

Liz Weir is a storyteller and writer and she has appeared in small storytelling clubs and at major international festivals, such as the National Storytelling Festival in Tennessee and the Australian National Storytelling Festival.

She is the author of more than 20 children’s books, the most recent being When Dad Was Away, a picture book about a child whose father is in jail and Tales of the Road, a children’s book about Irish Traveller life. She is the first winner of the International Storybridge Award from the National Storytelling Network, which cited her “exemplary work promoting the art of storytelling”.
