Libraries NI has confirmed that Ballynahinch Library will reopen on Monday 11^th April at 10.00am, offering a brighter and more spacious library to people in the area.

The refurbishment has improved the accessibility and layout of the library and this investment will provide the local community with a modern library capable of delivering all of Libraries NI’s services.

Customers will see a new customer services area, improved accessible toilets and attractive dedicated areas for adults and children making the library a modern and welcoming space for all.

The library provides a vital service to people living in and around Ballynahinch and library members can borrow up to 9 items at any one time - books and audio books are free of charge.

Library users are also being offered free newspapers, resources and information on the internet, which can be accessed through library or home computers. So call into Ballynahinch Library and ask about Online Library today.

To become a new library member, simply bring along a means of identification (which includes a home address) and then you can make use of the many free membership benefits.

Ballynahinch Library’s opening hours are: Monday from 10:00am – 4.00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00pm - 8:00pm, Thursday and Friday from 10:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am - 1:00pm and from 2.00pm - 5:00pm.
