On March 24th, as part of Creativity Month, the new Carrickfergus Library will be hosting a workshop on Book Illustration with local illustrator and author Trisha Deery.
Trisha will give workshop participants guidance to creating characters, illustrating and colouring as well as advice on avenues for selling and publishing their work.
Tricia has a BA in illustration from Falmouth College and now works as an illustrator. She has a wide experience in comic strip design, graphic novels and the superhero genre.
Her upcoming picture book, featuring RosieRusset, is due to be published this month by local publishing house Dog Ears.
The workshop is free and all drawing materials will be provided.
