Libraries NI is pleased to announce that libraries across Northern Ireland will be holding Christmas events for children to enjoy.
Christmas is a particularly busy time for libraries and with a network of libraries throughout Northern Ireland and Portstewart Library will be holding a number of free fun events for children to enjoy in the run up to Christmas.
· Christmas Rhythm & Rhyme – parents/carers are invited to bring their babies and pre-school children along on Friday 2nd December from 11.00am – 12.00pm to enjoy Christmas stories, songs and rhymes. Everyone is welcome – booking is not required.
· Christmas Stories for children age 4 – 8 years old will take place every Monday in the library from 5th – 19th December, from 2.15pm – 2.45pm. Children are invited to come along and enjoy festive stories. No booking required.
· Christmas Crafts for children aged 5 – 8 will take place on Wednesday 14th December, from 3.15pm – 4.15pm. Booking is essential but places are limited so please contact the library in advance to avoid disappointment.
· Christmas Crafts for children aged 3 – 5 will take place on Friday 16th December, from 11.00am – 12.00pm. Booking is essential but places are limited so please contact the library in advance to avoid disappointment.
