Libraries NI invites you to an evening of storytelling with Lexy Higgins, in Newry City Library, on Thursday 8
th September from 7.00pm – 8.00pm.
Lexy is a published author and poet from Kilkeel, Co. Down. She is the author of ‘Where Do Balloons Go?’ and other poems published by Appletree Press in 2006. As a gifted after-dinner speaker Lexy’s repertoire is full of humour and wry observations. She was delighted to take part in BBC Radio Ulster’s Days Like This programme and is a regular contributor to the Alan Simpson Show.
Jane Moore, Cultural Services Manager with Libraries NI, explains:
“This is an open invitation for everyone to come along to Newry City Library to enjoy an evening of fun and laughter as Lexy entertains her audience with stories. Everyone is welcome and admission is free, but booking is advisable.”
