Libraries NI is pleased to announce that Larne Library will hold a Mood Matters event on Friday 7th October, from 11.00am - 12.30pm.
Larne Library welcomes the over 50s to a short and enjoyable look at ways to keep focussed on mental wellbeing throughout life, how to take steps to stay positive and continue to live life to the full, and information on help that’s available when it’s needed.
The course, called Mood Matters in Later Years, is run by Aware Defeat Depression whose skilled trainers have over 12 years’ experience. This course is free – and you’re invited to just come along on the day or ask at the library for more information.
One person who participated in a previous Mood Matters session, delivered by Aware for Libraries NI, said:
“It was a brilliant morning, the session was very interesting and very helpful and it was very well organised.”
Julie Russell, Information Services team, Libraries NI, explains:
“Libraries NI is delighted that Larne Library will be hosting this Mood Matters event, offering people over 50 a free and enjoyable way to find out what support and information is available, to improve their health and happiness. Everyone is welcome to come along on Friday 7th from 11am”
