The 2013 Heritage Calendar, inspired by Derry-Londonderry UK City of Culture 2013, has been created using images from the 1920s and 1930s (taken from the Bigger and McDonald archive in Derry Central Library).

This is a fantastic collector’s item not only for residents of Derry-Londonderry but for family and friends, near and far. 

The calendar is on sale at a price of £5 and is available to buy in any of the city’s libraries or to order from any NI public library.

‘Monkey See, Monkey Do.....’ is a nursery rhyme book, with graphic illustrations of actions and an accompanying CD.

The aim of the book is to encourage parents and carers to interact with young children through singing songs and nursery rhymes with actions, helping them to develop language and learning skills.    

Monkey See, Monkey Do….. is available to borrow or buy from all Northern Ireland libraries (a purchase price of only £3.50).
