Free Nutrition Workshops in Libraries from January - March 2018

Libraries NI will host a number of healthy eating workshops at selected libraries during January, February and March 2018.

Led by local author and media commentator Jane McClenaghan, these free interactive workshops will cover topics such as sugar versus fat, good mood foods, healthy portion sizes and eating on a budget. The sessions will be full of energy and enthusiasm and people will have an opportunity to learn from Jane whilst sharing their own experiences with others.

Deirdre Nugent, Health Information Services Manager with Libraries NI explains:

“Each event will help our customers to find out about making healthy choices and positive changes to their diet and lifestyle. The workshops will be presented in a fun and interactive way and they will be packed full of simple and practical ideas to help people make immediate positive changes for the good of their health and their budget.”

These events are free and open to all. Contact the libraries directly to book a place.
