Temporary Closure of Comber and Portaferry Libraries for Essential Maintenance

Comber and Portaferry libraries will be closed from Wednesday 14 October 2020 until after the new year to allow for essential maintenance works to be carried out in both branches.

During this time, customers can visit nearby libraries operating as usual, including:

Newtownards Library, Queens Hall, Regent Street, Newtownards. Telephone: 028 9181 4732

Dundonald Library, 16 Church Road, Dundonald. Telephone: 028 9048 3994

Downpatrick Library, 79 Market Street, Downpatrick. Telephone: 028 4461 2895

During the closures, items can be renewed online with your library membership card and PIN number, which is available from library staff.

The Book and Collect​ service is also accessible in other libraries, just contact your preferred alternative library to organise your contactless collection. eBooks, audiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers can all be borrowed as normal through our online library.
