Go On

Once you’re able to navigate your way with a computer, to use email and enjoy the Internet, the Go On course will take you one step further.

Timetable for classes from April - June 2019​

The course is divided into sessions and includes the following modules:


DAERA and Aphis online services - Calling all farmers!  DAERA and Aphis online services.  Come along for an introduction on how to use Aphis (feel free to bring a family member or friend with you)

Editing Digital Photographs – Suitable for the absolute beginner.  Pick up some tips on editing your digital photographs.  Learn how to get them from your camera to your computer, how to save them, make adjustments and print.

eMagazines and eBooks Come along and find out how to access eBooks and eMagazines

Internet Scams (and how to avoid them) – Tips on how to stay safe online.

An introduction to Kindle Fire - If you have a Kindle Fire and want to learn how to use it, then this is for you!

An introduction to Galaxy Tablet - If you have a Galaxy Tablet and want to learn how to use it, then this is for you!

iPad Camera - An introduction to the iPad Camera.  Learn how to take and edit photos using an iPad.

iPad iMovie App - Come along and create a short digital film using photos from a selection we will make available.  Learn how to add special effects, music, sound effects and text.  iPads will be available for use on the day.

iPad Introduction – a basic introduction to the iPad.  If you have an iPad or are thinking of getting one and want to learn how to use it, then this is for you!

Moneysaving - Moneysaving madness!  Sample websites that can help you budget, get cashback, compare prices, and cut the cost of grocery shopping.

Your Health Online – Get tips and hints on keeping mind and body healthy, including self-help techniques.  Learn who else can help with health issues.​
