Book Week NI, 16 - 22 October 2023
Book Week NI took place in October 2023 and celebrated the joy and benefits of reading whilst also highlighting the important role that libraries play in community life and in the work of local schools, colleges and universities.
The initiative was bigger and better than previous years because we had some new partners on board! BBC Northern Ireland and Libraries NI joined forces with the Education Authority (NI), Education Library Service and local universities to make the week extra special.
Best-selling author events took place throughout the week and some of these are available to watch now.
Throughout the week there was also a short series of podcasts, exploring connections between songs and the books that inspired them. These are all available to listen to now.
