Libraries NI to Host FREE Storytelling Workshops with Ballyclare Author Kaana Johnston

Stack of books, The Cat and The Gecko and Annie The Alpaca by Kaana McKenzieLibraries NI is delighted to announce that Ballyclare children’s author Kaana Johnston will provide a magical storytelling workshop in Broughshane Library on Saturday 7 December from 11:00am until 12 noon, and in Portglenone Library on Saturday 14 December from 11:00am until 12 noon.

Known for her heartwarming tales of friendship and togetherness, Kaana Johnston will bring her captivating stories to life for children aged two to nine. This interactive workshop promises to inspire young imaginations and celebrate the joy of storytelling, making it the perfect family activity during the festive season.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kaana Johnston to Libraries NI,” said Bernadette Conway, District Manager. “Her stories beautifully highlight the importance of kindness, teamwork and connection, values we strive to nurture in our community.
