Due to essential maintenance works, Dundonald Library will be closed from Monday 23 May 2022 for approximately three weeks.
During this time, customers can visit nearby libraries operating as usual, including:

The planned works will include the installation of an upgraded lighting system as well as internal ceiling redecoration.
During the library closure, items can be renewed online with your library membership card and PIN number which is available from library staff. eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines can also be borrowed through our online library.
Libraries NI has announced Summer Opening Hours across the network of libraries which will take effect from Monday 27 June until Saturday 3 September 2022. Many customers use the library differently over the summer period and therefore the opening hours have been adjusted accordingly. The main change is that late night openings beyond 6:00pm from Monday to Friday will not be available.

Libraries NI is very excited to launch this years ‘Gadgeteers’ Summer Reading Challenge. Join the ‘Gadgeteers’ for a special science-themed Challenge that will inspire children to keep reading during the school holidays and use their imagination and creativity! Presented by The Reading Agency in partnership with Science Museum Group and delivered by libraries, the Challenge will take place from 25 June until 3 September in all public and mobile libraries across Northern Ireland.
