Undersea creative extravaganza event with Andrew Whitson

Online Art Workshop with Andrew Wilson in August 2021
This year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme is Wild World Heroes which inspires children to explore ways of helping to save the planet. Artist and Illustrator Andrew Whitson will be showing us how to cut down on paper plate waste and create some wonderful undersea creatures with it instead!

Andrew would be delighted if you could join him in an undersea creative extravaganza on Tuesday 3 August at 2:00pm via Zoom for a ‘Making paper plate undersea creatures Art Workshop’.

Andrew loves paper plates because they remind him of birthday parties, barbecues and not having to do the dishes after eating fun food with his family and friends. Perhaps though, it’s not such a good idea to be throwing the plates in the bin. After all, what about the environment and re-cycling?

No, Andrew has had a better idea, let’s use the paper plates to make undersea creatures that may be lurking below the waves.

All you need is some painted paper plates, scissors, coloured felt pens or pencils, glue and anything else you think could be useful in making some amazing undersea creatures!
