Warrenpoint Library Reopens Following Refurbishment

Warrenpoint Library will be reopening its doors on Monday 16 May at 10:00am to welcome members of the local community back into the library following a period of closure due to refurbishment work.

The library has benefited from improved services in the library with new accessible toilets, improved baby changing facilities and improvement of energy efficiency through a new LED lighting system installed throughout. 

District Manager, Ruth Watson said;
“I am very happy to reopen the doors of Warrenpoint Library and cannot wait to welcome all our customers back. Customers are free to come in to browse and borrow books, use the free computers with internet access, Wi-Fi, printing and studying facilities.”

There will be a range of activities taking place over the coming weeks to welcome some familiar faces back into the branch and introduce some new faces to the friendly and helpful library staff. Keep an eye on our website for all the details!

Warrenpoint Library’s opening hours are -
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 10:00am – 5:00pm, Wednesday 1:00pm – 8:00pm, Friday and Saturday 10:00am – 4:00pm.

Libraries NI has announced Summer Opening Hours across the network of libraries which will take effect from Monday 27 June until Saturday 3 September 2022.
