Cushendall Library will launch PaGES - Parent and Guardian Engagement Sessions – for children with autism on Tuesday 10 October 2017 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
PaGES is a support group for parents and guardians who care for someone with autism. The aim of the sessions is to provide information, practical support and wellbeing activities, as well as plans to hold seasonal events for the children they care for.
Autism is one of the most common developmental disabilities in Northern Ireland. Currently there are over 30,000 individuals affected by Autism within Northern Ireland. At present there is no known cure for Autism, however, there are a range of interventions that can help individuals reach their full potential.
If you would like to find out more or meet other parents and carers living with the challenges of autism, please come along. No booking required and everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
