Libraries NI has an extensive range of resources that are of benefit to historians, researchers, genealogists, students and those who have an interest in cultural and community life, past or present.
You can get advice in any public library in Northern Ireland, with the main heritage collections located in libraries in Armagh, Ballymena, Belfast, Derry, Downpatrick, Enniskillen, Newry, Omagh and in the Mellon Centre for Migration Studies (MCMS).

Heritage exhibitions and events take place throughout the year and include talks, family history fairs, family history workshops and book launches.
Visits to the heritage collections from groups, societies and schools are welcome. Staff members are also available to give talks outside normal library opening hours and in outside venues.
