Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Wednesday from 10:30am -11:00am.
 
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Mindful Colouring  
Every Wednesday from 3:00pm - 4:00pm.
 
Enhance your well-being and calm the mind through relaxed meditative colouring. A gentle way to reduce stress using intricate colouring patterns and designs.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Friday and Saturday from 10:30am - 12:00noon.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Knit and Natter  
Every Friday from 11:00am to 12:00noon.

Booking required.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Adult Reading Group  
Held Monthly on a Saturday, please contact the library for further information.
 
The Adult Reading Group for 16's and over gives an opportunity for adults to discuss their latest book.

Lego Club  
Weekly on a Tuesday from 3:30pm - 4:30pm.
 
For children aged 5-11 years. All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
 
Come along to have some Lego building fun.  Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build.

Junior Reading Group  
Wild About Books - this event takes place monthly on specific Fridays, beginning with 23 February and then 22 March 2024.

Booking is required; contact t: 028 4063 0661.

Junior Reading Groups are a fun way for children to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise.

Pots of Fun' Storytime and Craft Event  

Come down to the library for a Spring themed story and then have fun planting seeds into little pots, then take them home and watch them grow!

Storytime  

First Saturday of the month from 3:00pm - 3:30pm, for children up to 6 years of age, children's must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.
