Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

Knit and Natter |
Every Wednesday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Booking essential. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

Junior Reading Group |
First Monday of the month from 4:00pm - 5:00pm. Age 8 - 11 years. Junior Reading Groups are a fun way for children to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue. |

Introduction to Short Story Writing |
Over the course of six 2 hour sessions, budding creative writers will be equipped with the necessary skills to write their very own short stories, covering everything from ideas, plotting, character development to use of metaphor, avoiding clichés, editing and publishing.
This free course is facilitated by local published author Jamie Guiney and supported by Lurgan Townscape Heritage Scheme. Please note that participants need to be able to attend all six sessions as places are limited.

Lurgan Library invites you to join us as we hold our Macmillan Coffee Morning, in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
