CUSTOMER NOTICE – July Holiday Closures
All Libraries NI’s public libraries will be closed on Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 July 2026.
The Mobile Library service will be off the road from Monday 13 to Friday 17 July 2026 inclusive.
The Out of Hours service will be closed from Saturday 11 to Tuesday 14 July 2026 (inclusive), reopening on Wednesday 15 July 2026 in Out of Hours libraries.
Please remember that eServices (eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers) are available during this period, and joining online is free.

Every Friday from 10:30am - 12:30pm. No booking required. Knit and Natter Groups Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

Every Saturday from 11:00am - 12 noon. Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. Booking not required. |

| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Thursday from 10:30am - 11:00am. Booking essential. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

| Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman |
Dromore Library is delighted to welcome the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman (NIPSO), who will be hosting an information stand in the library. The NIPSO investigates complaints about public services in Northern Ireland. If you feel you have been treated unfairly be a public body, NIPSO provides a free, independent service to review your complaint. Their presence in Dromore Library will provide an opportunity for the local community to learn more by meeting the NIPSO Policy and Engagement Team. |
