| Children's Storytime |
Storytime sessions help children develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff every Friday as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors. | Mindful Colouring |
Every Friday from 11:00am to 12 noon; booking is not required. Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in. |

| Rhythm and Rhyme on Wednesdays |
Every Wednesday booking is not required. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! | Knit and Natter |
Every Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm; booking is not required. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

| Comic Kids Club |
Come along to our new junior reading group for children aged 8 - 11 years who are interested in comics and graphic novels. The group will meet on the second Saturday of each month 11:00am - 11.30am beginning on 14 March 2026. Please contact the branch to sign up and pick up the reading material for that month's group. |

Join us in Lisnaskea Library to help the Story Tree grow at the launch of the Big Summer Read 2026! We need help with the roots of the tree – visit us during library opening hours to complete a leaf with books that you have read and/or your favourite book which we will then add to the tree. | Big Summer Read: Storytime and Draw-along with Clive McFarland |
Join illustrator Clive McFarland for a reading of his picture book ‘Standing On One Leg is Hard’, discover fun animal facts, and learn how to draw your very own heron chick! ‘Standing On One Leg is Hard’ tells the story of a little heron chick who is trying HARD to be like the grown-up herons who stand so gracefully on one leg. But she just CAN'T do it! Maybe she just needs a little help? Clive McFarland was raised in Omagh, Co Tyrone and graduated from the Liverpool School of Art and Design. He is an author and illustrator of several other picture books, including A Bed for Bear, Caterpillar Dreams and The Fox and the Wild. Out of Hours Service
The Out of Hours Service allows adults (aged 18 years and over) controlled access to Lisnaskea Library for an additional 35 hours per week outside of normal opening hours.
Registered members can access a limited but important range of services on a self-service basis, including broadband/Wi-Fi access, printing facilities, study space and book borrowing. To register, just call in or contact the library during normal opening hours and ask staff for details.
