Adult Reading Club  
First Friday of every month from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.

Lego Club (on Saturdays)  

Every Saturday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

For children aged 5+ years. All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
Come along to have some lego building fun. Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build.

Knit and Natter  
Every Monday from 10:30am to 11:30am.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Tea and Newspapers (Wednesday and Thursday mornings)  

Weekly every Wednesday and Thursday morning from 10:00am to 12:00pm

 

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Chatterbooks  

First Monday of every month (please contact the library for specific dates) between 4:00pm to 4:45pm

Chatterbooks is an exciting Junior Reading Group where children aged 7 - 11 years can come along to chat about their favourite books, enjoy fun activities and crafts and meet new friends.

Rhythm and Rhyme (Tuesday Mornings)  

Weekly every Tuesday morning from 9:45am – 10:15am

Booking is advisable.
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Discover the Ulster connections that helped shape America.
 

Join us at Coleraine Library for an illustrative talk by Roddy Hegarty, exploring our country's deep historical ties with the United States. 

Through the story of Enrique MacDonnell, whose Ulster ancestry can be traced to the Earls of Antrim, this talk uncovers the remarkable contributions of people with Ulster roots during a pivotal period in American history.

Storytime  

Weekly, every Saturday from 10:30am to 11:00am. Suitable for ages 4-8 years.

Storytime sessions help children develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Book Week NI - Tale Time Stories Children’s Storytelling Sessions  

As part of our Book Week NI celebrations, Vicky McFarland from Tale Time Stories will be delivering themed Children's Storytelling Sessions for Early Years, KS1 and KS2. Delivering stories of heart, stories to prompt conversations and stories to entertain.

Vicky will use a fun, aminated style that keeps children engaged and participating throughout the sessions.

For Children aged 4 and over (children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult).
