Macmillan's World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is making a return on Friday 29 September and Libraries NI invites you to get involved. In the upcoming weeks, numerous local libraries throughout Northern Ireland will be taking part by hosting a coffee morning and you are encouraged to come along.
Each and every coffee morning has the power to raise vital pennies and pounds. Plus, it presents the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends over a cup of coffee and a slice of something scrumptious, all in the name of a tremendous cause!
Macmillan is committed to doing whatever it takes to support individuals living with cancer, but they cannot accomplish this without the generous assistance of people from all corners of Northern Ireland.
Libraries NI Chief Executive, Dr Jim O’Hagan, said
“We are excited that libraries across Northern Ireland are getting involved by hosting a coffee morning. I really do hope everyone comes along to lend a hand to Macmillan in their efforts to bring people together and raise funds for those living with cancer.”

Omagh Library Creative Space
Libraries NI is offering local artists, designers and photographers a unique opportunity to use a Creative Space rent free for a year. To support local creativity within the community, Libraries NI is providing two spaces of over 12 square metres in Omagh Regional Administration Centre which can be used for creative purposes, as a workshop or studio, with no rent requirements and all utilities supplied free of charge.

Changing Attitudes to Ageing Event in Omagh Library
On Monday 8 April from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, Omagh Library will host a unique event focusing on Changing Attitudes to Ageing for the people of Fermanagh and Omagh. Commissioner for Older People NI (COPNI), The Open University Ireland (OU) and Libraries NI are coming together to share the important message of embracing a proactive approach to ageing well.
