Irish Servicewomen in WW1

Dr Barbara Walsh is the author of Irish Servicewomen in the Great War (2020) and has followed up the publication of this book by sharing some of her research data. This takes the form of ‘charts’ for each county which list the name, address and some basic army service details for all the known names of young women who had signed up to serve between 1917-1919. Barbara hopes that these all Ireland county ‘charts’ will assist research scholars /readers/ family and local historians and anyone else who would like to investigate the topic further for their own interest.
