Latest Service Updates
Out of Hours libraries will close at 6:00pm (or at the library’s normal closing time if earlier) on Saturday evening, 20 September and will reopen after the library begins its normal opening hours. However, all of our other library services will remain available at the normal times. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Ballyclare Scribblers |
Every Tuesday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Are you a budding writer or poet? Come along to our new group and meet like-minded people and share ideas. Whether it is your first attempt or you are a seasoned writer you will be prompted by new ideas each week. Use this time out to take a well-deserved break from your day; to escape and relax the mind. |

Knit and Natter |
Every Tuesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

Bedtime Stories |
Please note this event is term time only First Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm. to 7:00pm. Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors. |

Tea and Newspapers |

Life is Rosie with Rosie's Trust |
Come along to the library and meet some of the team from Rosie's Trust which is an organisation that is dedicated in keeping dogs, cats and their ill owners together with practical support. Join us and hear about the services available in Rosie's Trust to those who are living with a condition or are undergoing treatment and also about the volunteer opportunities for those who love our furry friends at this special drop in. They will also be bringing a doggy with them so it is sure to be a special time. |

Storybook Yoga |
Join us at the library for a special Treat with Squiggles and Giggles. Enjoy a Children's storybook yoga session suitable for children aged 4 - 9 years old which will focus on a storybook, with lots of yoga poses, breathwork and movement. This lasts for around 35 - 40 minutes and maximum of 15 participants in each workshop so don't delay.
