Rhythm and Rhyme (Wednesdays and Fridays) |
Every Wednesday and Friday from 10:30am to 11:00am. Booking is essential. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! Mindful Colouring |
Every Thursday from 11:00am to 12 noon. Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in. |

Tea and Newspapers |
Every Friday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. |

Storytime |
Weekly, every Monday from 3:30pm to 4:00pm. Suitable for ages 4-8 years. Storytime sessions help children develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors. Adult Reading Group |
Last Wednesday of the month from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Adult Reading Groups are a great opportunity for members to join in some lively literary discussions in a relaxed, friendly environment. The groups encourage people to read for pleasure, share their enthusiasm and express opinions about books and their authors. The group meets on a regular basis and the book the group will be discussing can be borrowed from the library catalogue for free. |

Surestart Storytime and Information Session |
As part of our Empathy Festival celebrations, Ballymoney Library in partnership with Surestart invites you to come along to a themed Storytime for all to enjoy. Surestart will also be available afterwards to share information with adults in attendance.

Ballymoney Library invites children aged 4-10 years to come along and soar through the sky and take part in our Up, Up and Away Airplane Craft event.
Use your imagination and create your own wonderful flying plane with craft materials provided by our friendly staff and fly to places beyond your wildest dreams.

Refugee Awareness Week - Human Library Project |
To support Refugee Awareness Week and in partnership with Northern Health and Social Care Trust, as part of the Causeway Loneliness Network, Ballymoney Library invites you to attend the Human Library Project.
The Human Library is a way for people to reach out and connect with individuals in their community that they might not normally engage with. Human libraries promote tolerance, celebrate differences and encourage understanding of people who come from varied cultural or lifestyle backgrounds.
