Events

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Friday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
To be held on the last Tuesday of every month from 10:30am to 11:15am.
Booking is essential.
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.
Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Lego Club Reading Group  

This takes place every Friday; suitable for age 8 upwards. Come along and discuss our book club book while playing with Lego. We will provide a book every month to read.

Storytime  

Storytime session every Saturday; suitable for ages 4 - 8 years old. This session will help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.
Children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Homework Club  

This takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday 3:00pm - 4:00pm.
For ages P5 and up. Come along and do your homework in the peace and quiet of the library. Staff will assist with helpful books and websites (internet permission is needed by parent/guardian before being able to use the computers).

Autism Friendly Hour  

This takes place on the last Tuesday in the month. Booking is essential to ensure a time slot. The library will be closed to the general public and you will have your own individual time slot to use the library.

Bit of Craic - Adult Storytelling Group  

Join us in the library for tales and stories for adults.

This group will be running once a month where everyone is welcome.

BFI Replay Go On Session  

Drop in to discover BFI Replay, a free digital archive available on Libraries NI computers. Staff will demonstrate how to access over 60 years of television footage, offering a fascinating glimpse into everyday life, culture and history as captured on screen.

Happy Birthday Dr Suess  

Join us in the library for a special creative workshop led by two talented artists from Wheelworks!  Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday in style with a colourful, imaginative art session inspired by his wonderful worlds, along with a lively themed Storytime.  Expect fun, creativity, and plenty of Seuss style magic!

Crumlin Connect Event  

Crumlin Library are partnering with Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council to host a series of drop ins, talks and community focused events for the community of Crumlin.
Each month we will be inviting in an organisation to offer advice, information or resources along with an activity. Free Period Product Information, South Antrim Community Transport visiting and an Arc 21 Craft Session at 3:00pm.
