All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Monday 4 May and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road. The Out of Hours Service will be available in applicable libraries.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Friday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
To be held on the last Tuesday of every month from 10:30am to 11:15am.
Booking is essential.
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.
Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Lego Club Reading Group  

This takes place every Friday; suitable for age 8 upwards. Come along and discuss our book club book while playing with Lego. We will provide a book every month to read.

Storytime  

Storytime session every Saturday; suitable for ages 4 - 8 years old. This session will help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.
Children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Homework Club  

This takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday 3:00pm - 4:00pm.
For ages P5 and up. Come along and do your homework in the peace and quiet of the library. Staff will assist with helpful books and websites (internet permission is needed by parent/guardian before being able to use the computers).

Autism Friendly Hour  

This takes place on the last Tuesday in the month. Booking is essential to ensure a time slot. The library will be closed to the general public and you will have your own individual time slot to use the library.

Bit of Craic Club  

The Bit of Craic Club is a relaxed adult storytelling group where people come together to hear stories and share memories and moments that make you smile.
 

From funny tales and everyday experiences to local memories and gentle reflections, this group celebrates the joy of storytelling in a friendly, informal setting.

There’s no pressure to perform — whether you want to share a story, listen along, or simply enjoy the company, everyone is welcome.
 

The group meets the last Wednesday of the Month from 2:15pm - 3:15pm

Time for Tea  

Join us in the library as we mark Mental Health Awareness Week by enjoying each other’s company which having a cuppa. Come as you are or bring a group.

Crumlin Connect  

Crumlin Library are partnering with Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council to host a series of drop ins, talks and community focused events for the community of Crumlin. Each month we will be inviting in an organisation to offer advice, information, or resources along with an activity. This month we will be welcoming in Guide Dogs NI and Deafblind NI to hold a drop in service. 

Also enjoy an adult storytelling session “Tales of the Tides” that will “set sail” at 3:00pm. Booking not required.

Tales of the Tides  

Join us at Crumlin Library for a “Knot Your Average” visit, filled with tales of the high seas and a splash of fun. This relaxed, enjoyable session is also dementia friendly, making it perfect for all to enjoy.
