| Seed Library |
New Seed Library in Larne library using repurposed card catalogue furniture.
As well as offering free seeds, the seed libraries also offer growing instructions and advice. The aim of these projects is to promote a ‘borrow, grow, donate’ ethos in local communities and to work with gardening groups to bring the pleasures of growing from seed to a wider audience. Available during library opening hours. |

| Book Buddies |
Find your book buddy in our box of cuddly toys or dress up from our fancy dress box to help you find your books to read.
Cuddly toys and fancy dress clothes stay in library until your next visit. Available during library opening hours. |

| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Friday from 11:00am to 11:30am. To be accompanied by an adult, booking is essential. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

| Quiet Hour with Sensory Play/ Sensory Storytime |
Every Friday from 3:45pm - 4:45pm
Bring your child/children to visit the library, browse and borrow books attend Rhythm and Rhyme at 11:00am and avail of sensory toys/Storytime for a quieter time at 3:45pm in our Sensory Room. Booking essential. t: 028 28277047 |

Every Monday from 11:00am to 11:30am. Booking is essential. Will open by phone on Friday at 10:00am for the following week's session and will be on first come first served basis. | Tea and Newspapers |
Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00am to 12 noon.
Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. |

| Knit and Natter |
Every Wednesday from 11:00am to 12 noon. Numbers limited, contact staff for details. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

| Adult Reading Group |
Meets on the last Thursday of the month, from 4:45pm - 5:45pm.
The Adult Reading Group for 16's and over gives an opportunity for adults to discuss their latest book. |
