Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Storytime 0-5 years  

Weekly on Mondays from 10:30am - 11:00am.

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Quiet Time  

Every Tuesday evening from 5:30pm – 7:30pm; no booking is required.

Lights will be dimmed and noise kept to a minimum. Material to promote calm and relaxation such as mindful colouring will be available on demand.

Rhythm and Rhyme

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Weekly on Thursdays from 10:30am - 12:30pm.

Patchwork Group is for adults who enjoy sewing and patchwork. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Teen Tranquil Hour  

Do you need a break from your busy schedule? 
If so, visit Armagh City Library and enjoy an hour of peace and tranquillity in our Teenage Section. Take part in quizzes, games, mindful colouring and puzzles or just relax with a good book. Refreshments provided.

Every 4 weeks on Tuesdays from 3:30pm - 4:15pm.

Junior Reading Groups are a fun way for children P6/P7 to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

The group meets on a regular basis and the book the group will be discussing can be borrowed from the library catalogue for free.
