Knit and Natter  
Every Monday from 10:00am - 12:00 noon.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Mindful Colouring  
Every Tuesday from 10:00am - 12:00noon.

Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
 
Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Junior Reading Group  
Second Tuesday of the month from 4:00pm - 4:45pm.
 
Junior Reading Groups are a fun way for children aged 9 to 11 years to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Thursday from 10:30am - 11:00am.

Booking essential-please ring on Wednesday from 10:00am to book a place.
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.  Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Teen Reading Group  
Last Wednesday of the month from 5:30pm - 6:00pm.

Teenage Reading Groups are a great way for young people aged 12+ to explore a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

The group meets for one hour on a regular basis between September and June.

Mental Health Awareness Week - Adult Craft  

Wednesday 13 May, from 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Adult craft in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Week. We are going to decorate air balloon templates with pom poms. We are also going to colour in window decorations. These simple activities will be effective in helping to destress our busy minds and to slow things down a bit! Again, puzzle and colouring packs will be available to take home, or complete if the tasks are finished.

Empathy Storytime and Craft  

Saturday 6 June, from 11:30am – 12:30pm. Empathy story time and craft. After reading a few stories and having a chat about our feelings,  we will be designing our own Superpower glasses. We will be writing our own acrostic poem using the letters “EMPATHY” and we will have a colouring and puzzle pack based on Empathy and what it means. Suitable for children aged from 6 years to 12 years old; children aged under 8 years, but be accompanied by an adult. Booking essential.
