Online Adult Reading Group  

Join us for our new monthly Online Reading Group from the comfort of your own home.
Like any other Reading Group a book is selected each month then participants are invited to join the meeting on Zoom for an hour each month to discuss the book.

Adult Reading Group

Adult Reading Groups are a great opportunity for members to join in some lively literary discussions in a relaxed, friendly environment. The groups encourage people to read for pleasure, share their enthusiasm and express opinions about books and their authors.
The group meets on a regular basis and the book the group will be discussing can be borrowed from the library catalogue for free

Tea and Newspapers  

Every Wednesday from 10:15am - 12:15pm.


Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Friday from 10:30am - 11:00am.
 
Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise.

Knit and Natter  
Every Friday from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.
 
A group for anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. Share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Bring whatever you are working on at the moment or start a new project.
 
All welcome no booking required.

Family Lego Club  
Every Saturday from 10:30am – 11:30am.
For children aged 4 and over; Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
 
Enhance your well-being and calm the mind through relaxed meditative colouring. A gentle way to reduce stress using intricate colouring patterns and designs.

Fitness Fridays  

4 weekly introduction to strength training sessions, starting on Friday 9 January.

Peter is a qualified Personal Trainer and NHS Pharmacist.

He works with clients to improve their health and wellbeing through resistance training and tailored nutrition, focusing on strength, stability, and mobility.

His approach is designed to build resilient bodies that remain fit and capable for the future.

Meet the Author - Tony Macaulay  

Dr Tony Macaulay is an author, peace builder and broadcaster.
 

His memoirs of growing up in Belfast during the Troubles - Paperboy, Breadboy and All Growed Up - were adapted into hit musicals at Belfast’s Lyric Theatre.
