Mindful Activities  
Spend a relaxing hour with colouring and other mindful activities.

Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in.

Kids Mindful Colouring

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Wednesday from 10:30am - 11:00am.
Booking essential.
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.
Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Mary's Mindful Moments  

Every Thursday 11:00am - 12:30pm.

Join us for a morning of mindful meditation and craft activities for adults. Take some time out to unwind, relax and explore your creative side.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Monday and Friday from 10:00am - 1:00pm.
 
Tea and Newspaper groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Knit and Natter  
Every Monday from 10:30am - 12:30pm.

Booking is essential.

Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Nigel Killops – In A Moment  

Local artist and poet Nigel Killops has always admired the work of the French Impressionists and from the Twentieth Century the American artist Norman Rockwell. A fascination with people either singularly or in groups, at work or at play has been a lasting theme. In this exhibition of works in pastel and pencil you may recognise the familiar - a youthful Hillary Clinton, studious stargazer Patrick Moore, tennis star Emma Raducanu and television’s Holly Willoughby amongst others.

Roald Dahl Day  

Join us in Comber Library for a celebration of favourite children's author Roald Dahl. We'll have a story, themed craft and colouring actives and a special character hunt. Fancy dress welcome!

Save the Bees Craft  

Join us at Comber Library to celebrate Go Green Month with Libraries NI! Decorate your very own flowerpot before planting special seed paper to grow vital and wonderful wildflowers. These flowers will give bees and other pollinators food reserves before the winter months!

Hand Drawn Creative - The World's Craziest Pop-Up Book!  

Local graphic artist Neal McCullough (aka Hand Drawn Creative) will tell the amazing story of a truly unique book celebrating songwriter Allee Willis, her pink Hollywood home and her many famous friends! Hear how Neal was approached by Hollywood's Willis Wonderland Foundation to create an over the top, fully illustrated pop-up book with a dedicated team of world class creatives. It's the craziest book you'll ever see and the story behind it is even crazier! Join us at Comber Library for an evening of pop culture, legendary tales of Los Angeles and the stories behind some of the World's most famous hit songs.
