Customer Notices and Closure for Refurbishment
Temporary Closure of Killyleagh Library for Refurbishment Work
Due to refurbishment work, Killyleagh Library will be closed from Monday 4 December until Spring 2024.
During this temporary closure, customers can visit any public library. The closest libraries include:

The planned refurbishment work includes installing a new thermal efficient roof, new triple glazed windows and doors, along with new LED lighting for energy efficiency. The interior of the library will also be enhanced with a new ceiling, new floor covering, and re-decoration of internal walls.
During the library closure, items can be renewed online with your library membership card and PIN number which is available from library staff. eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines can also be borrowed through our online library.

Come along to have Lego building fun. Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build. For children aged 8+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

| BOGOF Adult Reading Group |
Third Wednesday of the month from 5:00pm - 5:45pm.

Adult Reading Groups are a great opportunity for members to join in some lively literary discussions in a relaxed, friendly environment. The groups encourage people to read for pleasure, share their enthusiasm and express opinions about books and their authors.
The group meets on a regular basis and the book the group will be discussing can be borrowed from the library catalogue for free. |

| Tea and Newspapers |
Every Tuesday from 11:00am - 12:30pm.
Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

| Knit and Natter |
Every Tuesday from 11:00am - 12:30pm.
Contact Library.
Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.
