Customer Notice
Warrenpoint Library Temporary Closure
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Warrenpoint Library will be temporarily closed to allow for essential maintenance works to be carried out. We estimate that the library may be closed for a period of six weeks and during this time, a mobile library will be available at the library venue every Monday and every Thursday from 1.30pm – 4.30pm from 1 October. Warrenpoint Library customers can also use the nearby Newry City and Kilkeel libraries.
During the closure, items can be renewed online using your library membership card and PIN. Library members can borrow and return items at any public library across Northern Ireland and eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers can also be accessed as normal through our Online Library.

Please note while Warrenpoint Library is closed for essential maintenance, a temporary mobile library service will operate at the car park beside Warrenpoint Library on the following dates:

Join us in Warrenpoint library fortnightly on a Friday for Ukrainian Rhythm and Rhyme beginning on Fridays from 11:30pm - 12 noon. Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise. |

| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Tuesday from 11:00am - 11:30am. Booking is Required. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

| Knit and Natter |
Every Monday from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |
