Knit and Natter  
Every Monday from 10:30am to 11:30am.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Adult Reading Club  
First Friday of every month from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.

Chatterbooks  

First Monday of every month (please contact the library for specific dates) between 4:00pm to 4:45pm

 

Booking is advisable.

 

Chatterbooks is an exciting Junior Reading Group where children aged 7 - 11 years can come along to chat about their favourite books, enjoy fun activities and crafts and meet new friends.

Rhythm and Rhyme (Tuesday and Friday Mornings)  

Weekly every Tuesday and Friday mornings from 11:00am to 11:30am.

 

Booking is advisable.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

 

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Suitable for children aged 0-4 years; children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Tea and Newspapers (Wednesday and Thursday mornings)  

Weekly every Wednesday and Thursday morning from 10:00am to 12:00pm

 

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Lego Club (on Wednesdays)  

Every Wednesday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

 

For children aged 5+ years. All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.

Come along to have some lego building fun. Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build.

Storytime  

Takes place every Thursday.

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Suitable for children aged 4-8 years; children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Board Game Club  

Weekly every Saturday.

For children aged 5+ years, come along and play some board games with your friends at Coleraine Library, where our friendly staff are more than happy to help.

Ulster Orchestra's 'Coleraine Library Morning Concert' Performance  

Coleraine Library is delighted to welcome the Ulster Orchestra to deliver a wonderful horn musical performance by 4 of their talented horn players. We welcome you to come along and enjoy this musical experience in the heart of your local library and embrace the sound of Orchestra.

Children's Easter themed Scavenger Hunt  

Coleraine Library is getting ready for Easter and invites children aged 4-8 years accompanied by an adult to come along and kick start the holidays with our Easter Themed Scavenger Hunt. 

Will it be the Easter Bunny, Easter Chick or an egg-tastic treat that you will find? From 3:30pm-4:30pm.

Easter 'Bunny Face' Plate Craft  

Come along and enjoy all the Easter fun at Coleraine Library, as we invite children aged 4-8 years accompanied by an adult to join our friendly staff, who will help you craft your very own Easter Bunny Face using paper plates and our selection of craft resources. 

From 10:00am - 11:00am, booking not required.
