📢 CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holidays Closure 📢

All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on May Day, Monday 5 May and on the Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 26 May and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road on those dates. The Out of Hours Service will remain available on 5 May and 26 May in appropriate libraries. Remember that members have free access to eServices during this period. Register to become a Member.

Knit and Natter  
Every Monday from 10:30am to 11:30am.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Booking is not required.

Every Tuesday from 11:30am to 12 noon.
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.
Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Wednesday from 10:00am to 12 noon.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Adult Reading Club  
First Friday of every month from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.

Lego Club  
Every Saturday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
Booking is essential.
 
For children aged 5 - 10 years. All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
Come along to have some lego building fun. Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build.

Spring Clean Book Exchange  

Join us in Coleraine Library to start off the month with a good old fashioned spring clean. Bring along any unwanted books in need of rehoming to recycle for someone else's old reads. 

 

And if you can't find anything to your taste you can always sign up and borrow some of ours!

Motorbike Mad Children's Craft Session  

To celebrate the North West 200, we invite children aged 4 -10 years to come down to Coleraine Library and create some Motorbike Mischief of your own. Using our selection of craft materials, join our staff in designing your very own motorbike body and wheels and get ready to race off.

Kicking off Exams Coffee Evening  

Coleraine library offers an evening of free tea and coffee to start off exam season the right way and help students get going for the start of the study season from 5:30pm - 7:00pm.

North of Ireland Family History Society - Family History Day  

Coleraine Library is delighted to welcome North of Ireland Family History Society into the library to hold a Family History Day. Everyone is welcome to come along and speak with members of the society to learn more about researching their family history, genealogy, advice and tips on how to avail of the Heritage Room resources within the library and help with any queries relating to family history.
