Customer Notice - Exceptional Closure

Garvagh Library will be closed on Friday 26 July. Alternative libraries include Kilrea and Limavady.

Garvagh Library will be closed from Tuesday 27 August until Saturday 31 August inclusive. Alternative libraries include Maghera. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Saturday from 10:00am to 10:30am.
 
Everyone welcome.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Knit and Natter  
Every Tuesday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
 
Everyone welcome.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Seed Library Club  
Last Thursday of every month from 2:00pm - 3:00pm
 
Garvagh Library invites you to join our monthly Seed Library Club to learn, share and help build a seed library together.

Adult Reading Group  

First Tuesday of every month between 3:30pm – 4:30pm.

 

This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.

Ready, Steady, Colour! Museum Services Colour the Collections Challenge  

In partnership with Causeway Museum Services, are you ready to accept the Museum Services Colouring Challenge? For children aged 3 – 11 years old, your challenge is to select at least 10 images from the ‘Colour the Collections’ series. For every image you colour, your local library or Museum will stamp your challenge card. Complete 10 images to collect 10 stamps and then bring your stamped challenge card back to your local library or Museum to win your certificate.

Rhythm and Rhyme - It's Seaside Time  

As part of our summer activities, Garvagh Library invites you to join our special seaside themed Rhythm and Rhyme session, where we will be singing lots of summer rhymes and songs. Come along and join in the fun. 10:00am - 10:30am.
