CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holiday Closures
All Libraries NI’s public and mobile libraries will be closed on Saturday 12, Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 July. Libraries will reopen on Wednesday 16 July.
The Out of Hours service will be closed from Friday 11 July until Tuesday 15 July inclusive reopening on Wednesday 16 July in Out of Hours libraries.
Please remember that eServices (eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers) are available during this period, and joining online is free.

Seed Social |

Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Saturday from 10:00am to 10:30am. Everyone welcome. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

Knit and Natter |
Every Tuesday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Everyone welcome. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

'Ferocious Fairytale Dragon' craft |
Once upon a time in Garvagh library, there was a mighty dragon hiding among the bookcases. That’s right, it’s Medieval and Fairytale week of our Big Summer Read.
We welcome all princes and princesses aged 4-11 to join us in creating your own pet dragon in our Ferocious Fairytale Dragon craft.
Children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

'Say Cheese! Historical Style Selfie Props' Craft |
Say cheese! It is the Victorians and Industrial Age week of our Big Summer Read in Garvagh Library.
To celebrate, we invite children aged 4-11 to create their own Historical Style Selfie Props in our craft event. Whether you want to don frilly collars or an old timey hat, our friendly library staff will help you craft up a suitable look for your time travel reading adventures.

Big Summer Read - 'Bleep Bloop! Rad Robot Craft' |
Bleep Bloop! This week our Big Summer Read is all about the Future and Science Fiction. So hop in your spaceship and zoom on down to Garvagh Library. We invite scientists aged 4-11 to create their very own futuristic Rad Robot in our craft event.
