Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! | Tea and Newspapers | 
 Every Wednesday from 10:30am to 11:30am 
 Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. Please contact the library for more information.  |

| Knit & Natter | 
 Wednesdays from 11:00am - 12:30pm A group for anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. Share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Bring whatever you are working on at the moment or start a new project.  |

| Storytime | 
 Weekly, every Friday from 2:15pm - 2:45pm. Suitable for ages 3-6 years. Storytime sessions help children develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. | Lego Club |

 This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free. Please contact the library for more information.  |

| Doodles Art Company - 'Autumn Recycled Tin Owl' Children's Craft | 
 Portstewart Library is delighted to welcome a local volunteer from 'Doodles Art Company' to host an Autumn Treat with a 'Recycled Tin Can Owl Craft' as part of our Green Libraries Initiative. For children aged 6+ years, come along and enjoy all the recycling fun, as you our guided on how to create and take a wide-eyed owl home with you!
