All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Easter Monday, 6 April and Easter Tuesday, 7 April 2026 and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road.

Second Thursday of every month from 4:15pm to 5:15pm.

Booking is essential.

This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.

Teenage Reading Group  

2nd Thursday of the month from 4:15pm - 5:15pm.


We are currently taking names for our new teenage Reading Group which will take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month. This group would suit ages 11 years and over.

Chess Club  

Come along and join our fortnightly Chess Club.
Our club is open to Children Aged 8+ and Adults.
Everyone is welcome from beginners to advanced.

Chatty Library  
A space where people can come and relax, chat, read newspapers and avail of all the free resources in their local library. 
 
Available every Tuesday from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

Rhythm and Rhyme  

Every Wednesday from 10:30am to 11:00am.
Booking is not required.
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.


Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Knit and Natter  
Every Thursday from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Coding Club

Dive deeper into the world of computer programming, learn how to create your own games and animations.

Mindful Colouring  

Available during library opening hours.


Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in.

Visit our free drop - in services, no appointment needed. RNID can help with basic repairs and maintenance of NHS hearing aids, information on hearing loss and tinnitus, how to do a hearing check and access support and services in your local area.

Join our Free hands-on coding session with Kubo the Robot.
