Customer Notice - Fivemiletown Library Reopens on Thursday 12 December with Brand New Look!

Libraries NI is delighted to announce that Fivemiletown Library is reopening on Thursday Thursday 12 December at 9:00am. Be sure to call in if you're in town!

This new and modern facility has been designed to support the community providing spaces for reading, studying, hosting events and it will be of great benefit to anyone looking for a productive environment to work or study in, or a place to connect with other local people, or a place to simply find your next good read.

Tuesdays from 2:30 - 4:00pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00am - 12 noon.


Drop in to relax and escape with a cup of tea or coffee while reading local newspapers.

Looking to pick up a new skill or sharpen your creative edge? Learn @ Lunch with Libraries NI brings engaging, practical learning directly to you in just 30 minutes. From creative writing to photography, our online lunchtime sessions make it easy to grow your skills. We'll be streaming these sessions live in our community room upstairs. Booking essential. Mindful Colouring

Storytime  

Every Saturday from 11:00am - 11:30am.


Join us for a children's Storytime every Saturday morning. This session is suitable for children aged 5 - 8 years. Everyone welcome.

Evening Adult Book Group  

1st Tuesday of the month from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.


Join local author Anthony Quinn on Tuesday 7 January as we celebrate the launch of a new Evening Adult Book Club with an interactive shared reading session. Anthony will share materials with the group and a book will be chosen to discuss the following month. Please contact the branch to sign up on 028 8952 1409.

Morning Adult Book Group  

2nd Thursday of the month from 10:30am - 11:30am.

Bedtime Stories  

2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:00pm - 6:30pm. 


Bring along your little ones in their favourite pyjamas to settle down and prepare for bedtime with our cosy bedtime stories. These sessions will take place fortnightly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month and is suitable for children up to 6 years old.

Junior Book Group  

3rd Thursday of the month from 3:45pm - 4:45pm.


We are currently taking names for our new Junior Reading Group which will take place on the 3rd Thursday of each month. This group would suit children aged 7 - 9 years. Please contact the branch if you are interested in signing up by calling 028 8952 1409.

Story, Tea and Chat: Shared Reading for Adults  

3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.


Come along to a relaxed shared reading session were a story or some poems will be read aloud to the group and conversation encouraged on the themes that emerge. Everyone welcome and refreshments will be provided.
