All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Easter Monday, 6 April and Easter Tuesday, 7 April 2026 and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Thursday from 10:30am to 11:00am.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Thursday from 11:00am to 12 noon.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Mindful Colouring-in can be a most beneficial exercise for children. Strathfoyle Library offer the ideal environment for children to relax, indulge in their own creativity and have their artwork showcased.

Easter Card Crafting  

Come along and join us for our annual Easter card crafting event.  
Will you choose to make a chick or bunny card or an Easter basket to take home?

Date 2 April 2026
Time 11:00am to 12noon and 2:00pm to 3:00pm

All crafting supplies are supplied by the library.

Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
