Table Top Role Playing Group  
One a month on a Saturday from 10:30am - 12:30pm.

Playing Tabletop game ‘The One Ring’ a game based on The Lord of the Rings. No experience necessary, all the rules and mechanics of the game will be taught to anyone new. Once familiar with the game players can develop their own characters, gaining experience and building on them with each adventure.

Poetry Club  

Share and read your selected poems and then if you wish discuss, within a pleasant and relaxed group of likeminded people.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Tuesday from 10:00am - 10:30am.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.
Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Storytime  

Every Tuesday from 3:30pm - 4:00pm.

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Wednesday from 10:00am - 12:00noon.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Knit and Natter  
Every Wednesday from 10:00am - 12:00noon.

Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Breast Feeding Support Group  

Takes place every Wednesday.

 

This is a breastfeeding peer support group held within a community setting, facilitated by Midwives and Health Visitors. 
This is an chance for local breastfeeding mums to join together for a cuppa and a chat, with the opportunity to find out about health related information and what support is available within the local community.”

A member from BHSCT Infant Feeding Team will be in attendance once a month for any specialist breastfeeding support.

Mindful Colouring

Junior Book Club  

Join our Junior Book Group for a fun and friendly space where young readers can explore exciting stories, share their thoughts, and discover new favourites. Each session brings a new adventure, with lively discussions, creative activities, and plenty of opportunities to make friends who love books just as much as you do. Whether you’re a confident reader or just getting started, everyone is welcome.

Parent Toddler Group  
This event takes place every Monday.

It provides an opportunity for parents, guardians, grandparents or Childminders to socialise with each other in a library setting over a cup of tea and a biscuit.
No booking required; suitable for children 0-3 years (accompanied by an adult).

Save The Bees Craft  

Help us celebrate Go Green with Libraries NI Month! Use our craft resources to decorate your own very own flowerpot before planting special seed paper to grow your own colourful wildflowers. These flowers will give bees and other pollinators much needed food reserves before the winter months! Booking essential.

Good Relations - Storytime
