📢 CUSTOMER NOTICE: LIBRARIES WILL TEMPORARILY CLOSE DUE TO WEATHER WARNING 📢
Due to the yellow and amber Met Office weather warnings in place, all libraries will close from 3:00pm on the 3 October 2025. Some may close from earlier due to regional conditions.
At this stage, we hope that all libraries will reopen on the 4 October 2025 as normal but we would suggest calling your library before commencing your journey.
All mobile libraries will be off the road on the 3 October and Out of Hours Service will not be available from 3:00pm on the 3 October until normal library opening hours on Saturday Morning.

Rhythm and Rhyme |
Wednesday from 10:30am - 11:00am. Booking on the Monday prior to the session is required. Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise. |

Storytime |
Every Saturday from 11:00am - 11:30am. Book on the Monday prior to the session. Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors. |

7 - 9 Year Old Reading Group |
Junior Reading Groups are a fun way for children to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

Knit and Natter |
Every Wednesday from 11:30am – 1:00pm
Knit and Natter groups are for those who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.
