Rhythm and Rhyme

Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise.

Storytime  
Every Saturday from 11:00am - 11:30am.

Book on the Monday prior to the session.

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Tea and Newspapers  

Join us for Tea and Newspapers every Monday. 

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Family History - Irish 1901 and 1911 Census for Beginners  

Learn how to use the 1901/1911 census of Ireland for your family history research, as well as tips and tricks for how to search when you can’t find someone on the census.

Kubo Meet Kubo the robot!  

Learn the basics of coding with an interactive game that helps Kubo get to school, play football and go to the shops.  
Suitable for 4-10 year olds.

Join us in celebrating the Big Summer Read with a robot themed craft and Storytime.

Knit and Natter  

Every Wednesday from 10:30am – 12noon.

 

Knit and Natter groups are for those who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

 

Booking not necessary.
All ages welcome.
