Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise.

Adult Reading Group  
This event takes place on the last Thursday of each month in the library meeting room from 3:00pm - 4:30pm.
Monthly group to share the joy books and reading.

Spaces limited so please phone on the morning of the session to book a space.

Lego Club  
Every Saturday from 10:00am until 11:00am

For children aged 6 - 10 years old; Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Knit and Natter  
Every Tuesday from 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Cryptic Corner  
Every Tuesday from 10:00am - 11:30am. Keep your mind active -
Come and enjoy a crossword, sudokus, puzzle or board games in the relaxing environment of the library.

Tea and Newspapers  

Every Wednesday from 10:00am - 11:30am.

 

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Mindful Colouring  
Every Thursday from 10:00am - 11:30am.

Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in.

Saturday Storytime  
Every Saturday from 11:30am.

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.
