CUSTOMER NOTICE - Easter Bank Holidays Closure 

All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Easter Monday, 6 April and Easter Tuesday, 7 April 2026 and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road. The Out of Hours Service will also be unavailable on these dates.

Children's Storytime  

Children's Story Time held on the 1st Thursday of the month from 3.30pm to 4.00pm.


Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Mindful Colouring  

Every Wednesday from 11:30am - 2:30pm.


Enhance your well-being and calm the mind through relaxed meditative colouring. A gentle way to reduce stress using intricate colouring patterns and designs.


Relax as well with a cuppa.

Lego Club  

Lego Club, every Saturday morning from 11:00am to 1:00pm.


Come along, enjoy creating your own Lego creation and have a photograph to go on our Lego gallery wall.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Monday from 10:30am - 12:00 noon.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Monday from 11:00am - 11:30am

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Come along and bring your Easter Bunny, see if you can find Peter Rabbit and your also might like to wear your Easter Bonnet.

Olivia Armstrong is an Irish performance Storyteller who tells stories of wonder and magic for all ages.

Tullycarnet Yarnspinners with Fran O'Boyle  

Fran O'Boyle is a storyteller and artist who is based in County Donegal with Glens of Antrim roots, he has been working as a professional storyteller for more years than he cares to remember in schools, festivals, museums and libraries all over Ireland and the U.K.
