Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Wednesday 9:30am – 10:00am.
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Storytime  
Every Thursday from 3:00pm - 3:30pm.

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Knit and Natter  
Every Friday from 11:00am - 1:00pm.

Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Children's Chess Club  
Join Whiterock Library for a new chess club, suitable for children aged 8+. Beginners are welcome to learn a new skill from an experienced chess tutor. Chess can improve problem solving skills and develop strategic thinking.

Chatterbooks Reading Group  
The third Monday of the Month from 3:30pm – 4:30pm.

Starting on Monday 15 January 2024.
Chatterbooks is an exciting Junior Reading Group where children aged 7 - 11 years old can experience reading in new and fun ways. Come along to chat about your favourite books, enjoy fun activities and crafts and meet new friends!

Mindful Colouring  

Enhance your well-being and calm the mind through relaxed meditative colouring. A gentle way to reduce stress using intricate colouring patterns and designs.

The Adult Reading Group for 16's and over gives an opportunity for adults to discuss their latest book.

Join us for The Macmillan Coffee Morning! This is about more than fundraising – it’s a chance to enjoy coffee, cake and conversation, reconnect with friends and feel part of your local community while supporting a cause that touches so many lives. Booking is not required.
