Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Wednesday at 12:30pm
 
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Storytime  
Every Thursday from 3:00pm - 3:30pm.

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Knit and Natter  
Every Friday from 11:00am - 1:00pm.

Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Children's Chess Club  
Join Whiterock Library for a new chess club, suitable for children aged 8+. Beginners are welcome to learn a new skill from an experienced chess tutor. Chess can improve problem solving skills and develop strategic thinking.

Boardgame Tuesday  

Snakes and ladders, Jenga, twister, hungry hippos and more come play some games and make some new fiends.

Mindful Colouring  

Enhance your well-being and calm the mind through relaxed meditative colouring. A gentle way to reduce stress using intricate colouring patterns and designs.

Adult book club  

The Adult Reading Group for 16's and over gives an opportunity for adults to discuss their latest book.

Toddler Tea and Toast  

Join us with your little ones every Friday from midday for free tea, toast, and chats. Connect with other parents in an informal environment. Feel free to join us for our 12:30 Rhythm and Rhyme class afterwards.

Arts and Crafts Club  

Dazzle your friends with your creations at Whiterock library’s Art and Craft club! From paper airplanes, to spaceships, to mice, to dinosaurs, you can design and make a whole world and flex your creative muscles. Suitable for ages 5-11, children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

World Book Day - Create your own book  

Create your very own book from paper and felt! Decorate it and start writing your own story for World Book Day.
For children aged 5-11 years, children aged 8 an under must be accompanied by an adult.
Booking not required.
