| Whiterock Young Minds – Library Club |
Meet new people in your local community and learn more about a wide range of issues. Enjoy talks from guest speakers and take part in workshops and activities. | Chatterbooks Reading Group |
The third Monday of the Month from 3:30pm – 4:30pm. Starting on Monday 15 January 2024. Chatterbooks is an exciting Junior Reading Group where children aged 7 - 11 years old can experience reading in new and fun ways. Come along to chat about your favourite books, enjoy fun activities and crafts and meet new friends! Booking essential. | Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Wednesday 9:30am – 10:00am. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

The fourth Wednesday of the Month 3:30pm – 4:30pm. Starting on Wednesday 24 January. Calling all young writers! Are you a budding writer or poet? Come along to our new creative writing group for children aged 8 – 13! You will be prompted by new ideas each month and have an opportunity to share your ideas with the group. Every Thursday from 3:00pm - 3:30pm. Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. | Knit and Natter |
Every Friday from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. Everyone welcome. |

| Wellbeing Coffee Morning |
Meet new people in your local community and celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week. Learn more about what your local library has to offer and have a go playing some of our giant games, on this year's theme of 'Movement: Moving more for our mental health.' Explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs which can enhance well-being and relieve stress through. Enjoy a game of chess or relax with a selection of local newspapers and tea, coffee and biscuits.

| Children's Crafternoon to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week |
Spend a Crafternoon at Whiterock Library to celebrate this year's Mental Health Awareness Week. Children and families are welcome to make a self esteem rainbow to take home. For children aged 4 and over, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
