Homeless
We recognise the difficulties faced by people experiencing homelessness and libraries across Northern Ireland go beyond just providing resources.
As well as offering computer use and access to the Internet, our libraries provide a space to read, a place to learn, and have a welcoming, safe environment that encourages the process of rebuilding and connecting with others.
Community Helpdesks
Many of our libraries also have community helpdesks, which serve as invaluable hubs of local knowledge. These helpdesks offer vital information on where to find the support and assistance that homeless people may need.
How to join the library when you have no fixed address
We have made joining the library even more accessible as you no longer need to have proof of ID or an address. This means that anyone can join and enjoy the benefits of borrowing books and using computers and/or Wi-Fi for FREE. You can join online or by visiting your nearest library.
