41st Casualty Clearing Station

14th January 1916

Dear Sir,

A line to inform you that I am still enjoying life and the best of good health out here. I received the letter from the Library Association forwarded on to me, and thank you for the same. We are still stationed at the same camp, and as our career so far has been free from incidents, I have nothing interesting to relate. I saw Mr Simpson160 the other day but had not an opportunity to speak to him. Our time here is occupied between looking after the camp and attending lectures, with an odd route march now and again. We expect more serious work in the near future. Best wishes to yourself and the staff.

Yours sincerely,
Joseph Fitzsimons
