B.E.F., FRANCE
Dear Fitzsimons,
I am just sending you this hurried note to ask what separation allowance, if any, your people are getting from the Army or yourself. The information is wanted for the City Hall, and I should like to have a reply as soon as possible.
Hoping you are in the best of health and spirits and will come safely through the trying times ahead.
Yours truly,
JBG
